Learning Disabilities Association of Alberta 2010 Conference CALL FOR SPEAKERS The Learning Disabilities Association of Alberta’s 2010 conference committee wishes to extend an invitation for session proposals. This year’s conference theme is:
Colour Outside the Lines:
Creative Responses to the LD Challenge
With this theme in mind, we encourage potential speakers to think about creative ways to respond to the learning disabilities challenges in all phases of life. Presentations on all topics related to learning disabilities and/or ADHD are encouraged but we would especially like to encourage proposals that explore the potential of individuals with learning disabilities to succeed in the fields of art, drama, music, multi-media and athletics.
Online proposal submission is now closed. Please contact (403) 283-6606 or email: info@LDAA.net for more information. The conference committee would like to thank you in advance for your submission, however, due to the volume of submissions and to ensure coverage of major themes, not all proposals can be included in the program. Successful speakers will be notified via e-mail no later than February 26, 2010.
We look forward to viewing your proposals and the opportunity to “Colour Outside the Lines” together!
