Dyscalculia: Action Plans for Successful Learning in Mathematics

Two or three children in every class of 30 pupils are likely to have dyscalculia: a specific difficulty with numeracy.  There is often an overlap with dyslexia, although the two disorders can exist separately.  This book addresses the need for both teachers and parents to understand the difficulties faced by children with dyscalculia, and introduces strategies for assisting them.

Presenting classroom and special education teachers with an overview of maths disorders, this book explores a range of intervention strategies. Incredibly user-friendly, it is an invaluable resource for teachers, TAs, and parents to ‘dip into’.
