Welcome to the Learning Disabilities Association of Alberta - Calgary Chapter Online

The Learning Disabilities Association of Alberta - Calgary Chapter (LDAA-CC) is a not-for-profit organization that provides information, resources and programs to children and adults with learning disabilities. 

The LDAA-CC has been assisting individuals with learning disabilities since being approved by the Government of Alberta Consumer and Corporate Affairs under the Societies Act in the summer of 1974. Originally formed as a parent-operated volunteer organization to advocate for improved learning conditions on behalf of children with learning disabilities, LDAA-CC has helped organize many programs to achieve the mission.

The Calgary Chapter is affiliated with the Provincial LDA, National LDA, and International LDA organizations.

We strive to help people with learning disabilities reach their personal potential by providing social skills programs, summer camps and adult employment programs in the Calgary area. For more information, see Programs & Services.

Increasing Public Awareness and Education
